
Consumer inflation data for April of this year were published, according to which it amounted to 8.4%. The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased the most – by 14.3%, alcohol and tobacco products – by 7.3%, clothes and shoes – by 8.1%. There is also an increase in the prices of various services. Housing prices rose by 5.5 percent, household items and housing by 5.3 percent, and health services by 0.7 percent. Transport services also increased by 6.9%. The lowest inflation is in the communication sector – 0.2%. Prices for leisure and cultural services increased by 12.4%, education by 1.5%, restaurants and hotels by 6.1% and other services by 4.8%.
